Hi, I'm Stevie!
A few fun facts about me.
I stopped drinking at 24, at the beginning of Covid. My sober date is May 1, 2020. I did not know what to do with myself, so I started working out that same day and I have not stopped since.
My whole family doesn’t drink either. We all stopped at different times and at different ages, but I would have to say the one I’m most proud of is my dad. He stopped drinking at 65, which is living proof that you really can teach an old dog new tricks.
I have been a Big Sister through Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland to an incredible human for 8 years and counting!
I thought I wanted to go to law school, so I wrote the LSAT, twice. It was the first time after quitting drinking and getting into fitness that I challenged myself with something I had convinced myself I could never do.
At 28, I moved across the country from Vancouver, BC to Toronto, ON. It was one of the scariest decisions of my life because I had always lived in Vancouver and was two blocks away from my parents. It also ended up being one of the best decisions I ever made for myself. Toronto is an amazing place and it will always be the place that changed so much for me.
After the move, I left my corporate life behind and was unemployed for three months. During that time, I started posting on social media and documenting my life as honestly as I could. Eventually, I realized I was not loving how I felt on social media, so I took a long break. During that break, I started working at a coaching company, and now I work directly with a 35-year-old female CEO who is a mentor and someone I am so grateful to have in my life.
I am celebrating 10 years with my partner on August 2, 2026. He is the most inspirational person I know, and our goal in life is to become better together.
I truly just want to become the best version of myself, for me, for the people I love, and for the people I cross paths with along the way. And if you are one of them, I hope the road ahead is kind to you.
Things people ask me
What is this space really about?
This space is about looking more honestly at the relationships shaping our lives most: alcohol, people, and health. It is a place for growth, reflection, stronger habits, and building a life that feels more aligned!
Do I have to be sober to be here?
Not at all. While going alcohol free has been a big part of my story, this space is not only for people who are sober. It's actually completely optional inside the workbook. It's really for anyone who wants to think more honestly about their habits, their choices, and the kind of life they want to build.
Why do you talk about alcohol, people, and health together?
Because they affect each other more than we think. The people around us influence our choices, our habits affect how we feel, and the way we take care of ourselves shapes what we tolerate, what we reach for, and how we move through life.
What does health mean to you now?
Health means more to me now than workouts or appearance. It is about self trust, routine, energy, mental clarity, and taking care of myself in a way that actually supports the life I want.
How did this all start for you?
It started with making one change, and then realizing that one change had a ripple effect on everything else. The more honest I got about what was and was not working, the more my life started to shift.
How do you stay so positive?
Honestly, I do not think it is about being positive all the time. It is more about choosing to look for what is still possible, even when things feel hard. It is more about focusing on what is in my control. I have learned that my mindset gets stronger when I take care of myself, stay honest about what is not working, and keep moving instead of sitting in the same patterns for too long.
What kind of content will I find here?
You will find content around alcohol free living, relationships, movement, mindset, routines, and personal growth. Some of it is reflective, some practical, and some is just me sharing what I am learning as I go.
I'm still building on this so will always continue to add as I grow and learn.
What is Reset?
Reset is the workbook I created to help people look more honestly at their relationship with alcohol, people, and health, then use that awareness to build better habits, stronger self trust, and a more aligned life over 90 days.
What if I only want to focus on alcohol right now?
The Reset workbook does include a deeper exploration of your relationship with alcohol, alongside a tracker and journal. But if you’re not ready for the full workbook and simply want to track your alcohol-free progress, start with the Alcohol Free Reset Tracker.
What do you hope people take away from this space?
I hope people leave feeling clearer, stronger, and more honest with themselves. Not like they need to become someone else, but like they can get closer to who they already know they want to be.
